Well we went back to travor place to hang with the kids and this time around we decided to give all the kids there a reading test to what level they are on for there grade there in!well we gave it to all the kids there and they all did very well in this catergory of reading they pronounce the words very clearly and filled in the blank question which were there favoriet and like i said the did very well for the grade some of them are in like this one kid his name is darius and he is in kindergarten and he did very well, i cant wait to go back and learn some more from them!
Today was our first day at trevor place,it a place for kids to go when there moms are out looking for aa place a job or taking college course to get a good jobt to survive.
the kids at trevors place were good kids and eager to do something and they all were good kids and im not going to say one kid i like better was because i liked them all and i cant wait to go back and play with the kids!
our teacher told gave us a piece of paper with question them and told us to pick one and answer it so i decided to pick the question is do you think all homeless people are looking for free money and are to lazy to work?
My answer to that would be no, not all homeless people are lazy are just looking for free money because the ones that are just looking for the money or laziness are the ones who will be their for the rest of there life cause they expect other people to do stuff for them and with what going on in economy these days they are on their own,and for the ones that are really not lazy or not looking for a handout are the ones who are really trying to get out of that system of being homeless and are really trying!
The one time in my life when showed committment or determanition is when i was in the sixth grade i help money for a childrens hospital and me and my class went to the hospital and we got to talk to the children who were really sick and we read to them and color with them and other stuff. we raise money by selling by selling goods and cloth that kids didnt wear anymore and made shirts to support them and by the end of it we were able to raise up to 1,000 dollars and all that money went to the hospital and it helped out alot! I also had another comitment was when i lived in florida we did this thing for people with no money and we had raise money by selling bake goods and having a fundraiser and we helped this family pay for food for their houses and they really enjoy it!
If i get in this wonderful program and recieve the 300 dollars i would probably save it in a bank and use it in the future for college!!!!
