It was our 2nd day of the camping and we had to get ready for the hike. We had to get our water bottles, backpacks, and the adults had to carry the backpacking packs. We drove to start of the hike (Point A) and we had to walk to our campsite (Point B). We had a little complication with the food supply. The problem was that there wasn’t enough food, we didn’t let that bother us, so we just continued with the hike. The first thing we had to conquer was the boulder field. Many people were ahead and many people were just cautious and tried to be safe. That’s when Phillip stopped the group that was ahead and told them to help the people that were behind. After that order, the people in the back started to catch up with the rest of the group. It took about 10-15 min to cross the field. When we passed the field, we took a little break. We started to continue on the trail but we had to go back, but not all the way back, because that’s when we found out that we went through the wrong path. While we were going to the right trail, I struggled a lot because I was given the heavy backpacking pack. I kept on falling but I ended up okay. We had to follow yellow markers that were on the trees. But I’m not going to talk about the whole hike so this is the end of my experience. What I learned from that part of the hike is that together you are stronger than when you are alone. 👌👌👌👌
